1. Applications and Acceptance
Submitting a talent application to ARZO carries no undertaking that your application will be accepted, that you will be added to the roster, or that you will receive any bookings. ARZO reviews all applications and makes acceptance decisions at its sole discretion based on current client demand, roster composition and quality standards.
We aim to respond to applications within 5–7 business days. If you do not receive a response within 14 days, you may assume your application has not been successful at this time.
2. Roster Membership and Bookings
Acceptance to the ARZO roster carries no undertaking that you will receive bookings, a minimum number of engagements, or any level of income. Bookings depend on client requirements, event availability and talent-to-brief matching.
3. Accuracy of Information
By submitting an application, you confirm that all information, including personal details, physical attributes, experience, portfolio and identity documents, is accurate, complete and up to date.
Submitting false, misleading or fabricated information (including falsified identity documents) will result in immediate disqualification, removal from the roster, and may be reported to relevant authorities.
4. Legal Eligibility
You confirm that you have the legal right to work or participate in commercial engagements in Qatar and any other jurisdiction where you are proposed for a booking. It is your responsibility to maintain valid visas, permits and any other required documentation. ARZO is not responsible for your immigration or work authorisation status.
5. Professionalism and Conduct
Once accepted to the roster and upon accepting any booking, you agree to:
- Arrive on time for all booked engagements, rehearsals and call times
- Present yourself in accordance with the client brief and agreed dress code
- Follow all reasonable instructions from the client, venue and ARZO representative
- Comply with venue rules, event regulations and all applicable laws
- Behave professionally and respectfully toward clients, guests and fellow talent
- Not consume alcohol, illegal substances, or behave in a way that brings ARZO into disrepute
6. Non-Circumvention
You agree not to contact, negotiate with, or accept direct bookings from any client that was introduced to you by ARZO, whether during your time on the roster or for a period of 12 months after leaving. All bookings that arise from ARZO client relationships must be arranged through ARZO.
Breach of this clause may result in removal from the roster and a claim for damages equivalent to ARZO's standard agency commission on the value of any bypassed engagements.
7. Payment
Payment terms are set out in the individual booking confirmation provided for each engagement. ARZO operates as an agency intermediary. The agency commission rate and payment schedule will be communicated in writing before you accept a booking.
ARZO is not responsible for client non-payment where the client has failed to honour their contractual obligations, though ARZO will take reasonable steps to pursue payment on your behalf.
8. Cancellations by Talent
Cancelling a confirmed booking, other than in cases of genuine medical emergency or force majeure, may result in:
- Forfeiture of any deposit or partial payment already received
- A financial claim from ARZO for costs incurred, including replacement talent costs
- Suspension or permanent removal from the ARZO roster
If you become unavailable for a confirmed booking, you must notify ARZO immediately; do not contact the client directly.
9. Removal From the Roster
ARZO reserves the right to remove any talent from the roster at any time, without notice, for reasons including but not limited to:
- Submitting false information on the application
- Repeated late cancellations or no-shows
- Unprofessional conduct toward clients, guests or staff
- Violation of applicable laws or venue rules
- Actions that damage the reputation of ARZO or its clients
- Non-circumvention clause violation
- Any other conduct that ARZO, in its reasonable judgement, considers damaging
10. What You Can Expect From ARZO
These obligations are not one-sided. In representing you, ARZO undertakes to:
- Brief you before every booking. You will receive the role, call time, location, dress code, duration and agreed fee in writing before you are asked to confirm.
- Confirm your fee in writing before the engagement. Your rate and the agency commission are set out in the booking confirmation. We do not change an agreed fee after you have accepted a booking.
- Pass on payment once the client settles the invoice. We will tell you the expected timeline for each booking and keep you informed if a client delays, and we will take reasonable steps to pursue payment on your behalf.
- Represent you accurately. We present your profile to clients as it stands, and we do not share your contact details with a client without your knowledge.
- Seek your consent for public use of your images. Sharing your profile privately with a client for casting is covered by your application consent; use on our website, social channels or in a client campaign requires the separate permissions described in the Talent Privacy Notice.
- Give you a reason. If we remove you from the roster, you may ask why, and we will explain. You may also ask at any time what data we hold about you and request its deletion.
- Treat you fairly and without discrimination, and provide a point of contact for any concern about a booking, a client or your treatment.
If you believe any of the above has not been met, contact us at privacy@arzo.qa and we will look into it.
11. Agreement
By submitting a talent application, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Talent Application Terms and the Talent Privacy Notice. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar.
